Hey everyone, here’s A Recap of 2023,

It feels like just yesterday I was reveling in the festive season, dreaming up plans for the new year.

Time truly does fly when you’re navigating the twists and turns of life’s adventure. This year has been a whirlwind of excitement and growth as I immersed myself in new initiatives and gave a fresh look to my offerings at YMSN.

A few personal highlights have been- Completing the AET course (Award in Education and Teaching) and receiving sponsorship from NatWest to enrol on the Remarkable Leadership program, a transformative journey that has added layers to my personal and professional development.

Collaborating with schools, I designed a self-development and empowerment program for Year 9 and Year 10 secondary school girls,

I want to say a Big Thanks to NatWest’s generosity via the donation we received from The Cost of Living Fund, we’ve been able to make a real impact.
Plus, being featured on BBC Radio News Television and BBC Radio London over 20 times this year has been another high. I find joy in expressing myself and utilising my voice to amplify my work through mainstream media (a passion that I hold dear)

If you have been wondering why the blog has been a bit quieter lately.

Life threw some curveballs my way, especially after deciding to homeschool my 12-year-old post-summer. Navigating the unique terrain of being a homeschooling entrepreneur mum wasn’t a walk in the park, but guess what? I persevered, and I’ll be sharing more about that journey soon.

And now, drumroll, please! I’m beyond thrilled to share some exciting news

I’ve been named the International Ambassador for Guide My Heart, a non-profit organization based in Atlanta.
As we say farewell to 2023, I’m gearing up for a special role as the featured guest at their annual women’s empowerment dinner.
This year’s theme? “She is Ready to Reign,” capturing the essence of R.E.I.G.N. –
Reach, Empower, Inspire, Grow, Nurture. With a heart full of gratitude for a challenging yet immensely successful year, I’m ready to conquer 2024.
My focus next year will be Investing more in my female founders platform via my online presence and supporting those with dreams as big as the sky.
Brace yourselves for some exciting plans unfolding soon.

As we close the chapter on this year, take a moment to reflect and reset.

Be kind to yourself—we’re all works in progress. Social media might paint a rosy picture, but remember, there’s room for us all. Dive into honing your craft, discovering your unique selling proposition (USP), and leveling up your skills.

Wishing you a holiday season filled with joy and peace. Stay tuned for updates on my Atlanta trip and the grand reveal of plans for 2024.

Warm hugs, Fiona Small
