Hi everyone, it’s Fiona here, I hope you all are enjoying the spring so far.
It’s been a while since my last blog so I thought I’d update you all on what I have been up to and the direction of travel I will be taking my business in.
Since my last blog, a lot of new and exciting opportunities have come my way and I’m really excited to share. If you have been following me on my social media, you would have seen that I have had a complete rebrand. It was a new year, so it was time to make a few changes to my brand and really begin to work on some of the projects that I had been sitting on for some time.
This new chapter is a memorable one!
In this first half of the year, I have been ambassador for a skincare line, held a virtual summit, been engaging in numerous speaking opportunities, had a photoshoot at home, written and published my first book, started my own show all whilst continuing to be the best mum possible for my children! I also just turned 42 – This new chapter is about to be a memorable one.
My book is one of my proudest achievements to date. In January, I asked a question to my followers on Facebook and the response was both overwhelming and unexpected. I asked, ‘If the father of your child has not been in contact for nearly three months, what should the mother do?’. I had mothers from all over, willing to give me advice and also share their own experiences.
Transfer pain into purpose
From my own cry for help, I transferred this pain into purpose and co-authored a book with Dr. Solomon Tention (pictured left) called ‘Effective Ways to Improve the Parent Experience‘, also planned and executed my very first virtual summit in recognition of Single Parent Day.
The summit saw speakers from around the world come together to share lived experiences and professional opinions on single parenthood; opening the conversation to begin to provide the tools needed to improve the single parent experience.
My book, ‘Effective Ways to Improve the Single Parent Experience‘, aims to help parents to implement new methods and approaches of how to deal with raising their children alone. This is now available for purchase on Amazon.
The Fiona Small Show
As well as a new book, I have also joined the e360tv broadcast streaming channel with my own show! Of course, I have called it ‘The Fiona Small show’ (link to show reel or add show reel) and this is live every other Monday broadcast on Apple TV, Roku, YouTube and more.
My show allows me to reach a larger audience and will feature a range of special guests, talking about life’s challenges, parenting, business and general experiences with the hope of motivating and inspiring people around the world. Head to my youtube channel to catch up on the episodes missed, also don’t forget to like and subscribe!
To keep up to date with show releases, guests and news about the fiona small show you can head to my facebook page @TheFionaSmallShow. All my other Facebook pages will be closing down by the end of the month and I will be moving over to The Fiona Small Show page fully, this is where I will be housing all of my content.
